Untitled 1

Posted on February 19, 2024February 19, 2024

Northern disparity weeps
And blue
as all fraud creeps.

i belong here
between the savers
and the new nail bar,

i belong here

where the magpie murders
and the white women pick tendon silk from teeth.

i have the pork, the lamb,
the side of spinach.

No tip.
No fare.

Up on the left, right before you hit the exit.
Northern – with an accent we both mock.
Take me,
or take me seriously –
i’ll settle for both.

Sediment, brave and wise.
Sediment, if he dared.

A poet lived on my street
– only his wife can tell.

Northern.
Up East – seal and batter.
Salt and coal,

and Blue.
As all frauds weep.
